EQ-505 Reverse Osmosis Membrane Cleaner (Alkaline Liquid)

Properties

EQ-505 reverse osmosis membrane cleaning agent is a high pH liquid formula alkaline reverse osmosis cleaning agent, mainly removes organic matter, colloids, microorganisms, bacteria and particulate matter. Excellent cleaning effect can extend the operation time of the membrane.

▲ Applicable to aromatic polyamide reverse osmosis membrane, hollow fiber membrane, sodium filtration (NF) and ultrafiltration (UF);

▲ Adjust the pH of the diluent to between 11 and 12;

▲ If used together with acidic membrane cleaning agent EQ-501, the effect will be better. It can remove oil and organic matter on the membrane surface and is more effective in removing biological mucous membranes on the membrane surface.

Dosage Instructions

The concentration of reverse osmosis cleaning agent is calculated based on the water quality analysis report and system conditions. The cleaning agent is usually added into the medicine box, and the general concentration is 5-10 %.

Cleaning Instructions

▲ Check and flush the entire RO cleaning system to keep it clean;

▲ Before cleaning, the type of RO membrane element contamination and the cause of the contamination must be clearly understood, and the right remedy must be prescribed;

▲ After cleaning, the cause of the contamination should be analyzed and corresponding pre-treatment and defense measures should be taken;

▲ During the cleaning process, the temperature of the cleaning fluid must always be maintained within the required temperature range (25-35°C);

▲ The cleaning flow rate should adopt the recommended value of the membrane manufacturer or the reverse osmosis membrane cleaning agent supplier. In addition, the flow rate and the length of the soaking time should be determined according to the type and degree of contamination of the membrane element (if there is no such recommended value, ExLen's technical engineers can give guidance based on the actual situation of the system);

▲ For systems with more serious pollution, it is necessary to consult ExLen's technical engineers when cleaning to obtain a better cleaning solution;

▲ For multi-stage RO systems, each stage should be cleaned separately to achieve better results. If the cleaning solution becomes turbid or the pH value exceeds the recommended range, it is necessary to re-prepare the cleaning solution or replenish the membrane cleaning agent. The system must be flushed with RO produced water before being put back into use.

Packaging and storage

1) Packed in plastic barrels, 25kg or 20kg/barrel;

2) The physical and chemical properties are stable. Store in a cool place with a storage period of 1 year.
